Sam’s Spring Picks

Recommended recent listens

Hi, Sam here, I thought I’d share a few podcasts that I’ve recently finished and enjoyed.  Some are old, others just released this week, but hopefully you might find something new to listen to within these recommendations.

True Crime isn’t my usual go to genre but I do love great investigative journalism hence why West Cork and Who Killed Emma are on my list, both are gripping but sympathetically told.

For insightful analysis of the news headlines I listen to Today In Focus, their recent Freshwater and The Post Office Scandal episodes have been brilliant.

In 2019 I devoured Season 1 of the fiction podcast Passenger List and have been patiently awaiting the launch of season 2 this week. Will the mystery surrounding Flight 702 be finally resolved…..

Having seen that Philippe Sand’s book The Ratline was Waterstone’s Non-Fiction Book of the Month for May, I thought I’d revisit Intrigue’s The Ratline episodes. I loved their Tunnel 29 series and am a sucker for all things WW2.
